What's Sandra Up To?

Has given over 60 memoir presentations and readings for clubs, organizations, community colleges, and book stores.

Facilitates two memoir writing groups for Writers' Group of the Triad (WGOT). The groups meet at Sternberger Artists Center on the 4th Monday each month. Anyone may visit once, but to become a member, membership ($30 per year) in WGOT is required. All current members have begun memoirs and are currently working on stories for a reading and an anthology.

Conducts Adventures in Learning (AIL) memoir classes for the Shepherd's Center of Greensboro. The class currently meets each Thursday morning at the First Baptist Church on Friendly Road. Her next AIL class begins in Spring 2011.

Critiques writing for the North Carolina Writers’ Network and other businesses and individuals. Also coaches writers and edits their work. Reasonable fees.

Writes a monthly column, featuring area senior citizens, for the News & Record.
